With the NFL Combine set to begin February 23, draft season is upon us. While at least one running back has been selected in the first round in each of the last five drafts, the MMQB’s Albert Breer says that this year’s class lacks that elite back that could go in the top 10. However, Breer notes the depth in at the position. Players such D’Andre Swift, Jonathan Taylor, J.K. Dobbins and Clyde Edwards-Helaire headline the class’ best backs. Breer says that any of these players have the talent and potential to start right away in the league.
